First, you do not have to do the research to find the shows. Then you do not have to research the shows. You do not have to apply to shows. You do not have to wait to hear the decision about your application. You do not have to buy a tent. You do not have to plan your set-up. You do not have to make or buy displays. You do not have to clean up all your jewelry and displays. You do not have to get there. You do not have to set up your booth. You do not have to smile and be nice to everyone. You do not have to worry about bathroom and food breaks. If outside, you do not have to worry about less than perfect weather which includes rain, heat or cold and wind. In addition, I have to worry about my wheelchair and the terrain. If inside, I need to worry about my wheelchair getting around. If multi-day, you do not have to worry about overnight security. Once it is all done, you do not have to worry about packing it all up and getting yourself, the jewelry and your booth home.
Sounds like a no-brainer. Right? However, an on-line store is no piece of cake either. You must decide your platform. An already existing store such as Shopify or google. Social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest. Alternatively, go all on your own with a website. Alternatively, maybe all the above.
I do it all. Right now, I am working on my website-kimmingsjewelry.com. I have recently updated it and I think made it classier. I still need to add jewelry to my store, but I think it is a start. Go check it out. Let me know what you think. I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
