This pendant has layers and layers of transparent and opaque glass layered over layers of white and crackle enamel. One never knows what will happen or when to stop. Another color can be added or the layer can be further torched,. This is a creative challenge. Needless to say it’s one of a kind.
The enameling process takes practice. Pulverized colored glass is sprinkled on copper handmade blanks. Then the pieces are torched to 1400 degrees. Multiple colors require multiple firings. Some pieces take as many as 10 firings.
It is on a tan leather cord.
